Refresh and elevate the current team portraits for Sona Systems’ website and communication channels, reflecting a professional yet approachable company culture.

When Justin, CEO of Sona Systems, first reached out to us, the request was clear: it was time for a fresh update. Their existing website portraits no longer reflected the energy and growth of the team, and with several team members traveling to Vietnam for a business trip, the timing couldn’t have been better to plan a photoshoot.

 With a larger team involved, we decided to move the shoot to a more spacious studio - one of our trusted partner studios - allowing everyone to work comfortably while giving us the flexibility to create both clean corporate portraits and dynamic group compositions.

From the moment the team arrived, the atmosphere was light and genuinely fun. Everyone was incredibly friendly, easygoing, and visibly excited to be in front of professional equipment. It didn’t take long before cameras came out on both sides - while we were shooting, the team was busy capturing behind-the-scenes photos and videos, documenting the experience with just as much enthusiasm as we brought to the shoot.

We began with individual portraits, giving each team member their own moment in front of the lens. The goal was simple: polished and professional, without losing the personality that makes each person unique. Once the solo shots were complete, we moved on to group portraits, experimenting with different combinations and arrangements to capture the team dynamic in a natural way.

One of our favorite moments came when the team brought out their own props - large alphabet boards carefully prepared in advance by Justin to spell out “THANK YOU.” While this idea hadn’t been shared with us beforehand, it was clearly part of the vision from the start and fit seamlessly into one of the concepts we had discussed, adding a playful yet heartfelt touch to the shoot.

The session wrapped up exactly how it began: with smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of collaboration. What could have been a standard corporate photoshoot turned into an energetic and memorable experience - one that truly reflected the spirit of the Sona Systems team.
