We had the chance to meet Ms. Duong - Chi’s mother - during a recent project when we were doing a portrait session for her at an office in Hanoi where she works. During our conversation, she mentioned her daughter, who is studying abroad, and expressed her hope that the Very Dep team could do a portrait shoot for Chi when she returned to Vietnam for summer break. That conversation eventually led us to the lovely opportunity of welcoming Chi to our studio.
Chi is currently a senior majoring in Finance at a university in the U.S. She wanted to have a set of professional headshots taken for her LinkedIn profile and other career networking platforms - a thoughtful step in preparing for her future career journey.
With guidance from the Very Dep team, Chi prepared two outfits: a custom-tailored grey pinstripe suit for a polished, professional look, and a soft mint dress for more casual and approachable moments.
Chi also opted for our makeup and hair services to ensure a polished and radiant appearance on camera. With her naturally elegant features and bright complexion, our makeup artist chose a fresh, natural makeup style - maintaining Chi’s soft, graceful essence while ensuring enough definition for the camera without making her look like someone else.
The session unfolded in a calm and friendly atmosphere. The warm brown backdrop beautifully complemented Chi’s skin tone and her elegant suit. We also used both a white background and a black canvas backdrop, along with a variety of poses, to offer a diverse photo set, from professional looks to softer, more approachable moments.
We were so happy to hear that Chi was pleased with the final photos. Her satisfaction is a great motivation for us at Very Dep Studio to continue delivering refined, full-of-heart, and professional photography experiences.
